Solved Cannot Claim Any Trees

I just ran down both sides of a river and did not find a single claimable tree. Console states:

Loaded plugin Tree House v1.3.1 by VisEntities
[Tree House] 723/834 trees marked claimable (35)
[Tree House] Re-applied stability to 60500 entities.

I approached 30 trees and stopped looking.

Unloaded and deleted the plugin & config. Stopped the server. Reinstalled Tree House and rebooted the server which gave me this:

[Tree House] 728/839 trees marked claimable (35)
[Tree House] Re-applied stability to 60500 entities.

On the first install of the Tree House plugin there was a Data entry. Have you removed it ? I no longer have it so assume you have removed it.

I have stopped looking for a claimable tree. Not sure what I can provide for you that might help. Oh, I am not in vanish or god mode during this search

It seems as if there are fewer vine trees spawning but I cannot claim a single one even with all plugins unloaded. I ran this:

spawn.report

but it does not tell enough about the jungle trees to be helpful.

Since no one else has commented with a similar problem I have to figure it is something at my end but I can't imagine what it might be if all the plugins are unloaded.

I granted permission in /perms I did still not working I've been around all the trees and it doesn't work in the jungle I went to one tree it worked one time but after that not working now maybe you know what I'm doing wrong

Do you see this message in the server console when loading the plugin? What does it show for you?
Code:
[Tree House] 2/2 vine-swinging trees made claimable (100)

It's probably because those trees are in or near building-blocked areas like roads or monuments. Any trees too close to those zones won't be made claimable. You can test it yourself by spawning a tree in an open area, you should be able to claim it

Apparently, Facepunch introduced 2 new vine-swinging tree prefabs in a recent update, which the plugin didn't support until now. I have updated it to include support for them. As for trees near no-build zones, that restriction still applies, but I have made the distance configurable, so you can adjust it if needed, I would recommend keeping it around 10-15 though

[Tree House] 134/350 vine-swinging trees made claimable (35)
Like I mentioned earlier, there are a few possible reasons
  • the tree might be one of the ones not marked as claimable, either due to the Claimable Tree Percent setting in your config or because it's too close to a building-blocked area
  • it could be one of the new vine-swinging prefabs that were unsupported before, this should be fixed in the latest version, so make sure you have downloaded it
  • the tree might actually be claimable, but you're not close enough, try climbing higher or reentering its area to trigger it
Aside from that it seems to work on every tree on my test server, just make sure you're using the latest version, so make sure you have downloaded it

Chat commands start with a /, while console commands can be entered directly in the F1 console or server console. Use find <keyword> in console to search for available commands related to the plugin. Parameters in < > are required, while [ ] are optional.
This plugin uses Oxide's permission system. Grant or revoke permissions using oxide.grant and oxide.revoke. You can assign them to individual players or groups using their Steam id or group name.
Settings are stored in the config file found under the config/ directory. You can edit this file manually, then reload the plugin to apply your changes.
Persistent data is saved in the data/ directory. This includes things like saved settings, usage stats, or player progress depending on the plugin. Deleting a data file will reset stored progress or customizations.
Language files are located in the lang/ folder. To translate messages, copy the en.json file into your target language folder (e.g. fr, de) and edit the values. Reload the plugin after changes to apply new messages.
This section lists public methods exposed by the plugin for use in other plugins. You can call these via the CallHook method. Ensure the plugin is loaded before calling its API to avoid null reference errors.
These are custom hooks that other plugins can listen for. Simply define a method with the same name and expected parameters in your plugin to handle the event. Hooks are triggered at key moments and are useful for extending or reacting to plugin behavior.
These hooks are injected into the game's code using Harmony. They let the plugin run code at key points in the game's internal logic. You can return values to block or modify behavior. Use with caution — these are powerful and can affect core mechanics.
