Researching Turrets, Furnaces, and Solar Panels on Tugs?

what I'm asking is this... would it be possible to add solar Panels, batteries, furnaces and turrets etc to tugs?
essentially making them proper floating bases with protection.
i know naval ships are coming but would be cool to have a bit of defence on tugs and the ability to use electrical furnaces etc out in the sea

Chat commands start with a /, while console commands can be entered directly in the F1 console or server console. Use find <keyword> in console to search for available commands related to the plugin. Parameters in < > are required, while [ ] are optional.
