Solved How to Stop Boats from Respawning Until Raided?

Not sure if I have missed the setting but is there a way of stopping the boats from respawning till they have been raided. At the moment they despawn and then respawn every hour or so.

So no issue here, just a config tweak needed. Here's what's happening:

Your Inactive Timeout is set to 20 minutes. That means if no players are near a boat for 20 minutes, it automatically despawns. Then your Maintained Ocean Boat Count (set to 6) kicks in and spawns a replacement right away. That's the despawn and respawn cycle you're seeing

To fix it increase your Inactive Timeout to something much higher. For example set it to 120 or 240 minutes, or even higher if you want boats to stay until someone actually raids them. Your Maximum Boat Lifetime is already set very high, so that is not the issue. The inactive timeout is simply cleaning them up too quickly

In your config under Despawn Settings change:
JSON: 
"Inactive Timeout (Minutes, No Players Nearby)": 20
To something like:
JSON: 
"Inactive Timeout (Minutes, No Players Nearby)": 240

That way boats will stick around for 4 hours before despawning due to inactivity, giving players plenty of time to find and raid them
