Name Tags on Bags (Staging Branch)
Bags now display name tags in-game on the staging branch.Helps with organizing bags, but also makes them easier to identify and destroy.
Scrap Heli Seating and Storage (Hackweek)
Scrap helicopters were tested with:- New passenger seats along the sides
- Storage space (not working yet)
Part of internal dev testing during Hackweek.
Controlled Water Pouring
Water containers are being updated:- Hold ALT + Left Click to dump all water
- Tap Left Click to pour slowly
Perfect for watering plants or doing smaller pours.
Base Heating Overhaul (Hackweek)
Base heating is being improved with more precise detection of what areas are affected.This will make heating systems like campfires and heaters feel more realistic and accurate inside your base.
Torch Now Provides Warmth
A lit torch might soon give off warmth, comfort, and help dry you off when wet.Still experimental, but would make early-game torches much more useful.
Custom Crosshair UI
You can now create and preview a custom crosshair directly from an in-game menu, no console commands needed.Scientists Can Drive Boats
Scientist NPCs are being tested with the ability to drive RHIB boats.How or where this is used isn't confirmed yet, but it opens up new possibilities for events or PvE servers.
Oil Rig Barrel Cleanup
Visual cleanup on oil rigs:- Static black barrels replaced with yellow/red ones
This helps players avoid confusing them with lootable diesel barrels.
Sleeping Bag Name Rules
You’ll only see team bag names if you:- Have TC access
- And are holding a hammer
Reduces screen clutter from too many visible bag names.
Deep Sea Expansion + Islands
The map is being expanded to include deep sea regions:- New islands can now spawn far offshore
- These could be used for future content or events
Looks like part of a bigger Naval Update in development.
Barricade Placement Fixes
Barricades will now work properly on:- Sand dunes near Excavator, Water Wells, and Radtowns
New Bunker Concept (Hackweek)
A new bunker idea is being worked on.No visuals yet, but it's in early stages.
Armored Ladder Hatch (Roadmap Confirmed)
Officially confirmed to be in development.No release date yet, but it's coming in a future update.
