Hi I was just wondering if it's possible to use decimal numbers on the smelting speed? From what I've noticed when set to 1 the smelt time is around 10 seconds. But in order to get the time down to 3 seconds I'd have to use 3.3333 as a smelt speed multiplier

It's not possible, also just so you know, a smelting speed of 3 might be normal for a small furnace, but for a large furnace, that's extremely slow. That's why you see the default config groups certain ovens together based on their default speeds. For example, the normal speed for a small furnace is 3 while for a large furnace it's 15

The speed is also influenced by how many slots the oven has and how many are occupied. So my recommendation isn't just to increase the smelting speed, but to adjust other parameters as well, like how many items are cooked per cycle, how many are produced, and how much fuel is consumed
 
Hello, having an issue with this plugin. When players are smelting Crude Oil, they are only receiving 1 lowgrade per Crude when it should be three. I also double checked the config and can conclude that it is set to 1 crude smelts into 3 lowgrade.

Yeah this value does nothing but raise the amount being taken for smelting lmfao. I dont understand. I have it set to take 3 for smelting now and give 9, but it just takes 3 and gives 3

"Raw Item Short Name": "crude.oil",
"Units Smelted Per Cooking Cycle": 3,
"Amount Produced Per Unit Cooked": 3

Which if its calculating correctly, 1 unit is 3, so with 3 units giving 3 per unit, should be 9.
 
Also just to cover my bases, I deleted the config and loaded a new one and only adjusted the speed and it still only gives 1 lowgrade after smelting 1 crude

I’ll run some tests and look into it
 
Would it be possible to add customized items? For example, in the electrical furnace, being able to use diesel and output low grade fuel.
 
Furnace sorter is not working correctly when you add more than 1x smelting. Dont know whos fault it is but maybe worth checking? Unless you have some tips of a sorter that shows correct time. :)

I need more details, in what way is it not working?
 
Its working fine. I could have worded that differently. its just that i use furnace sorter from chaos and when your plugin is set to 5x stacks the time and wood from it goes wrong, as i said above it might not even be your fault, just wanted to put it out there incase there is something you can do.
