As mentioned in previous posts, achieving high smelting speeds isn't just about maxing out the SmeltingSpeed setting. Instead adjust other settings and keep the SmeltingSpeed more modest. This way you'll get the same result but it'll be much easier to manage and follow

Yes, I realize that you can do that. But the problem is that I need it to automate electric furnaces. Sulfur and metal are fine melting everything, but mvc doesn't have time to remelt. So the conveyor taking away the finished resource is signaling to cut power to the furnaces because the mvc hasn't had time to melt.

The smelting speed of a resource varies depending on the resource itself, and Furnace Go Brrr controls the overall smelting speed of the oven, not individual resources. That being said the final smelting speed is determined by the following 3 factors:
  • The oven speed
  • The specific multiplier for each resource
  • The number of occupied slots

From what you've described, there doesn't seem to be an issue to resolve... If sulfur works as expected, other resources should too, unless the issue lies in the circuit or conveyor setup 😕

If you want, you could create a custom configuration for hq.metal.ore to increase its cooked amount
